P.A.

I grew up in Midway, UT in a large family of six children. Growing up in Midway taught me to love both the outdoors and a small, close community.

I spent two years in Costa Rica after high school, which is one of the reasons I chose to study Public Health with an emphasis in Health Promotion for my Bachelor’s degree. During this time, I worked to gain experience in urgent care and psychiatric medicine.  I later attended Northern Arizona University (NAU) for my Master’s degree in Physician Assistant (PA) Studies. At NAU, I had the chance to go on medical rotations in diverse and rural locations including Native American Reservations and boarder towns of Mexico. Working with such communities originally led me to practice in Primary Care/general medicine and also gave me an emphasis for research.

Practicing medicine in Urgent Care is my passion. I get to use my training and background to investigate new cases ever day. Above all, I love to spend my days conversing with the kind, diverse people that pass through 5-Minute Clinic of Heber City, UT.
